At the picture below the crowd goes by the house that belonged to Erik Oscar Relander (1812-1890). He was a third pharmacist and owned the APTEEKKI which sign you can see. Before him there were Anders Emanuel Öhrbom. He was not very often sober and once was even requested to go to Turku to be reprimanded by the pharmacy supervision department. The RELANDERIN TALO was burned down as a result of the soviet bombing on February 2, 1940. At its place, the dwelling house was built in the 1950s where the first floor or at least a part of it were taken by a kindergarten. The present address is: Lenin Street, 24.
