  1. The proof that a picture was taken in soviet era is the inscription at the door which reads БУФЕТ meaning BUFFET. So it was not a café any longer but a kind of a French bistro except that the choice of of drinks was limited to an awful soapy beer produced at the Pivzavod and some cheap wine as the Portwein 777, or some Lydia or Izabella Moldavian or Ukrainian beverages. We were far from being connoisseurs though. The did NOT, as far as my memory goes, sell vodka here.
