And Sophia Loren, an icon and living legend, spoke to AARP THE MAGAZINE for the December 2020/January 2021 issue to pass on some wisdom she’s gathered over the course of her life.
The 86-year-old movie star, who told the magazine she still feels 20 years old, returned to the spotlight for her newly released Netflix film The Life Ahead.

Sophia said to the magazine via writers Tim Appelo and Alanna Nash: ‘Sometimes when I say I’m 86, I don’t believe it. I feel 20.
The movie legend, who was born September 20, 1934 in the Clinica Regina Margherita in Rome, Italy, revealed six life lessons she lives by to the magazine.
Firstly, Sophia said she always cheers herself on, adding that she feels secure in who she is.
